As the holiday season starts to hit full swing, let's catch our breath for a minute and check in on how the NBA G-League Showcase Cup is going for the Austin Spurs.
The Austin Spurs currently sit a 3-5, good for 5th place in the south division. With four games remaining it looks unlikely that the Spurs will advance to play for the Showcase Cup (only the teams with the best winning-percentage in each regional pod, along with the next four teams across the league with the best win-percentages, advance to compete for the Showcase Cup).
That said, there have been highlights for the Spurs, including some impressive performances by Josh Primo. Sometimes it is hard to remember he is just 18 years old!
