Monday was "Welcome to Mississauga" night at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre.

The play of the first half was a vicious put back dunk vey Oshae Brissett - someone box that man out! As an extra bonus, the 905 lead by 2 (although it could have been 5 if Brissett, fouled while shooting a three pointer, would have hit his free throw, worth three points, with 0.7 seconds left in the half).

In the second half, Devin Robinson brough the boom!

The score also remained close throughout until the Magic pulled away in the last two minutes to hand the 905 the defeat. A 905 shot clock violation with under a minute to play with the Magic holding a 5 point lead was, perhaps, the biggest culprit down the stretch. "In basketball games we are playing well in many different moments but we got to close them out well", said coach Mahlalela after the game, "we have to practice to get better at it and that is what we are doing at our next practice and figuring it out for the next game".

So without question we are going to fight and claw until the last one goes and the players bought into that which is good.

- Coach Jama Mahlalela on finding the right fortitude for the last 3 minutes of the game
